Privacy policy
This policy covers the CoParent Diary website (coparentdiary.com). The person responsible for your data is Phi Truong Nguyen, an individual. Contact: privacy@coparentdiary.com.
The custody log and parenting plan worksheet
Everything you type into the custody log or the parenting plan worksheet is stored in your browser's local storage on your device. It is not sent to our server or to anyone else, and we cannot see, recover or disclose it. PDFs and backup files are created on your device. Anyone with access to your browser profile could open the pages and see the entries; clearing your browser data deletes them.
The waitlist
If you join the iPhone app waitlist, we store your email address, whether you ticked the founding-price box, the page you signed up on, and the date. We do not store your IP address or browser details with it. We use it only to email you about the CoParent Diary app (launch, founding price) and we do not sell or share it. The list is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database. To be removed, email privacy@coparentdiary.com; every email we send will also include a way to unsubscribe.
To limit abuse, the signup endpoint counts attempts per network for one hour, keyed by a one-way hash of the IP address; these counters are deleted after two hours.
Analytics (only if you accept)
The site loads no analytics and sets no cookies until you accept the banner. If you accept, we use PostHog (US cloud) to count page views and a few actions: an entry was added to the log (with its type and count), a PDF or backup was exported, a parenting plan PDF was exported, the waitlist form was sent. These events never contain anything you typed: no entry text, names, amounts, case numbers or email addresses. Autocapture and session recording are off and no personal profiles are created. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage; change it any time with "Analytics choice" in the footer.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes request data such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect the service.
If you email support@coparentdiary.com or privacy@coparentdiary.com, we receive your address and message and use them to reply. Mail is forwarded to a private inbox.
Children
The site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your choices
You can decline analytics, delete your log with "Delete all entries", and ask us to delete your waitlist entry. We do not sell personal information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes too.
